Pedro was born and raised in São Paulo (Brazil), moved to Barcelona (Spain) in 2009 and has been living in London (UK) since 2017. His academic background is in political science, cultural management and dramatic writing with a focus in public policy analysis, design, implementation and evaluation. Due to his artistic practice as a theatre-maker, he has a key interest in Cultural Value and other related concepts, methodologies and narratives that involve the social, economic and political impacts of arts and culture.
His professional experience includes working in iconic places such as the Sagrada Familia Temple, La Casa Elizalde, the British Library, Southbank Centre and the London Transport Museum. As a researcher he has developed work for the Catalonian government’s Department of Culture (Generalitat de Catalunya), the University of Barcelona, the University of the Arts London, among others. Currently he still participates actively in inclusive research projects with Heart n Soul at the Hub, the Wellcome Collection and the Creative Computing Institute (UAL).
He joined PPP in December 2020, working on the Literature Review of Roots of Resilience, and in February 2021 he assumed the role of part time Research Project Manager in the area of Arts & Wellbeing.
