Natália is based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil as part of PPP’s sister organisation, People’s Palace Projects do Brasil.
She is a social scientist and is finishing her doctoral studies at the Department of Political Science at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, from where she earned a Master’s Degree in 2017. As a PhD student, she conducted part of her research in Belgium as an International Scholar at the Centre for Political Science Research at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
Natália has experience with survey research and other techniques of qualitative and quantitative analysis. She is interested in political behaviour and seeks to use social research strategies to improve social justice and political equality. She is also an enthusiast of interdisciplinary and open science and works with science communication in the Dragões de Garagem Podcast.
She joined PPPdoBrasil in 2021 as Research Assistant for the Cultural Value Project, working in partnership with cultural organisations to help them gather information about their public and supporters. From a dialogue-based approach, Natália works with local cultural organisations that represent Brazilian cultural heritage to develop measures of their social impact and contributions.
