Fabiana Comparato

Fabiana Comparato works with research, writing, translation, arts-based content development and public policy for culture. She currently collaborates with the Pontal Museum of Brazilian Popular Art in Rio de Janeiro as Content Coordinator. As a regular collaborator of People’s Palace Projects, she has been involved in a series of different projects for the past 5 years as researcher and/or editor. Among her latest works, are: co-organizer of the expanded edition of the book “Legislative Theatre” by Augusto Boal (Editora 34, 2020); executive producer of the play “Grande Sertão: Veredas” by Bia Lessa (Rio de Janeiro 2019 season); director of the Municipal Cultural Centre Oduvaldo Vianna Filho – “Castelinho do Flamengo” (from 2016 to 2017); International Advisor to the State Department for Culture of Rio de Janeiro (from 2011 to 2016); and Institutional Coordinator and Film Selection Committee of the Rio Film Festival (2017).

At PPP she is currently involved in the projects: Building the Barricades and Boal Collection.
